MY 500TH POSThahaha. hey. that means i don't blog very oftenly also lor. it's been about 2years and 3months since i started blogging. which means it's the 820th day since i started blogging. and that also means, i blog an average of 0.609 post a day. which is very little. SEEEEE!!!! who says i blog too oftenly. humph.
and today, since it's so zhun zhun my 500th post in my blog, i've decided to end off 2008 with PHOTOS!!! hahahahaha i'm so not creative. Lol.
but first before i start gushing and uploading all the photos, I SHALL TALK ABOUT MY TANG YUAN MAKING RELM TODAY!! ;DDD
today is the first time in my life making tangyuan myself, as well as eating plain tangyuans. from young, i've been eating the ready made frozen ones with like, peanut/black seseame inside. now, it's time to eat freshly made ones by chef kimberly! hahahahaha. i hope i dun end up addicted to cooking and making like, chicken with torn skin and 4 tomatos at the side of the chicken. *winkswinks*.
okay! now to the photos of my tangyuan! (((:
Boiling the water with pandan leaf first (manz i sound like a freaking aunty housewife lah).
and then to the best part: THE DOUGH!!!

and then start kneading the dough...
Until it looks like this! seriously it looks very cute lor. and under the light somemore got shine one. Lol.
lol. and for those who watches the little nyonya, you should know that when someone gets married, the tangyuan made would be pink and white in colour, and then the guy and the girl would eat the tangyuan to ensure they get blissful marriage blah blah blah. so of coz, how could i forget the pink dough? :D

so cute right. lol.
but obviously this is too big. so have to make smaller ones to boil.
lining the plate with flour before you make smaller tangyuans is good. coz it would get stuck on the freaking plate, ruining my shooper cute tangyuans. hahahaha. but obviously, i lined too much. too bad. Lol
and then putting the tangyuans nicely on the plate.
and then add the tangyuan into the pot (added longans coz i got not enough sugar at home. lol.)
cooked only the pink ones coz they look cuter. so leave the white one alone. lol.
after cooking!!! taste test!!
says the tang yuan: EAT ME! I'M CUTE AND PINK!
took a bite and.............. IT'S QUITE NICE!!! (((:
and tadah!!! serves to myself! (:
taste test again.
me: due to colour mix, the white tangyuan looks like Raspberry ripple ice cream. Lol.
